THere is a small section that introduces TAB and some of the lessons have TAB, but as you progress through the book it is not the main focus of the book.
Thanks for the response. I know that the Bass Method focuses on standard notation, and I plan to eventually play from sheet music, but while I'm working my way through the Bass Method books, I'd like to have some popular basslines to play, that way I can play with someone. I am familiar with tab from playing other instruments. Do you think it's a bad idea to learn a few tunes from tab while trying to learn standard notation?
