Hi!
I am looking for songs that easily can be memorized. The songs doesn't have to be easy to play, just easy to remember. Please no Red hot chili peppers and Green Day
Thanks |

If so some that come to my head are:
Another One Bites the Dust - Queen
Money - Pink Floyd
The Barney Miller Theme song
The riff in Stevie Wonder's Sir Duke |

This is also a pretty infectious bass line played by Me'Shell Ndegeocello: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1nPPRQeTxTY

Muse - Hysteria: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KwhjlNvF-4Q
That bass line defines the whole song.

| | Gettin' medieval on yo' bass... | | Join Date: Jan 2010 Location: new hampshire | | | ummm... Just about any bass line can be memorized with enough practice, including RHCP. "Can't Stop" is a fun line and not too hard once you get the hang of it. I'm partial to the first part of Starship Trooper (Life Seeker) and Astral Traveller by Yes. Astral Traveller sounds great but it's actually quite simple, just a series of minor pentatonic scales apart from the instrumental part in the middle.
Or for fun party stuff, how about Love Shack or Low Rider?

Thanks | The bass part to "Living in the past" by Tull is pretty easy to remember. It's very "composed" like most of Tull's bass lines, so once you learn it it sticks with you pretty well.
