 Bass performance pieces.

Hi, I am currently taking music for my further education in sunny England and I need to play three solo performance pieces.
I have already chosen and learnt two from the rock school grade books (one grade 4, the other grade 6) but I wanted to try something away from these.
The two songs that I have already chosen seem to follow the trend of having a solo part in the song, one is a walking bass solo and the other I have worked out a solo from some arpeggios.
What I want to know is if there is any pieces of music that stand out in your eyes that would suit the trend of being roughly grade 4 - 6 (could try and attempt 7 but currently haven't even looked into them) and that also contained a small solo passage.
I understand what I'm asking for is very specific and any help would be greatly appreciated. |
