THE BASS TRADITION audio compilation ?

I just got bought Todd Coolman's book THE BASS TRADITION last week, what an awesome book for the price.

Has anyone ever located or created a CD or mp3 collection,
as a reference, for the solos transcribed in the book.

or is there a commercial compilation that exist?

I've only managed to locate a few solos so far...
I would really like to hear as many as these solos
as possible, to listen the intricacies of the masters @ work

I haven't seen a commercial compilation, but certainly all of the solos are available, that's how they got transcribed. And listening to the other music on the recordings is not onerous.

Check Jamie Aebersold's website, there's a nice selection of recordings available. But also check the online "stores", between iTunes and Pandora my buddy Jon has been able to find all kinds of obscure stuff.

Unfortunately pandora is not available for Canadians, however I found most of the tracks I want to look into now
on iTunes...
