Beginner help identifying chords

This a re-post in the correct forum
I'm a beginner and am working out arrangements to some tunes as a way to learn bass and guitar. I'm decent at figuring out bass lines and riffs but still have trouble hearing chords. Can anyone help me with this Joy Division song?

each measure of bass line is D-C#-A-A-D-C#-D-C#...repeat. No idea about chord progression here?

Google for the name of the song and "Tab" or "Chords" until you find someone's transcription.

Check out GNU Solfege (solfege.org) for some good free ear training software.

yea but for bands like absolution it doesn't always work if someone hasn't tabbed it yet. I guess it goes by experience

Sounds to me like the entire song is one A major chord. No other progression.
