Remember to explore the tabs under the Get Schooled at ... Basslines Header to the right.

If you have a few years under your belt, it's a great place to get some leads into exploration of new styles/techniques, but you definitely should not expect to come out with a thorough understanding after one weekend.
On a positive note, if you are interested in funk, Anthony Vitti (the funk/slap teacher at Berklee) to my knowledge is doing a performance during the basslines program. I took a lab with him this semester, he is a spectacular player (think Marcus Miller with Luther Vandross era meets Nathaniel Phillips). I also caught wind of who will be teaching the master class this time around, though I will leave that as a surprise.
I hope you have an awesome time and walk away with some useful info! Keep us posted!
(On a side note, if you can, take sessions with Danny Morris. Absolutely one of my favorite teachers here. He's a hell of a player and probably the nicest guy at the school. When I was at the basslines program, he taught in the Worldbeat section. He's also the author of several books on rock bass.)
Best of luck!

I saw that you studied with Lincoln Goines, I'm looking forward to studying with him next semester myself. |

Best of luck! | It sounds like what I expect. I have a short list of questions & want/need exposure to genres other than jazz.
Thx for the info Dude.

I'd recommend going to 5 week if you're serious about playing but can't be there full time. there is so much more involved in full time study than you'll ever see at basslines.
