Definitely guitar-centric, not too many shots of the bassists, but there's a ton of great musicians featured (Clapton, BB King, Joe Walsh, James Taylor, Hubert Sumlin, Skunk Baxter, Robert Cray, Buddy Guy etc.) and it'll expose you to a lot of excellent bassists that you probably don't know. It did for me. It's a great DVD. |

- Alain Caron Live at the Cabaret de Montréal - it's Jazz but very listenable and watchable because Alain can slap and work that fretless. And it all looks very effortless.
- Keb Mo's "Sessions at West 54th" with Reggie McBride laying down some blues.

Also, Pink Floyd Live In Pompeii, while not exactly a live DVD, has some fantastic footage. |
