big book of bass exercises

Sign in to disble this ad
when i took trumpet lessons, my teacher taught me from a big book of trumpet exercises he called "the trumpet bible". It had everthing. from chromatic scale exercises, to articulation, i can't even describe it... a complete beginner could pick it up, find exercises fitting for them, and play. a veteran could do the same. it was like eight hundred pages too haha

is there such a book for bass? or any bass clef instrument for that matter. thanks!

Ray Brown's Bass Method is full of some very good exercises. Not quite a big as some books and also probably not quite as beginner friendly but very, very useful.
