Most songs by artists such as Buddy Guy, Fleetwoodmac (early), John Mayall, Taj Mahall, Eric Clapton, and Johnny Winter would be good.

I found "Hoodoo Man Blues" by Junior Wells to be a great starting point.

"Messin' with the Kid" (Blues Brothers cover, not sure who the original is) is a good easy start. "Sweet Home Chicago" is the Blues National Anthem, also a good starter song. Ed Friedland's book "Blues Bass" has all the info you need, and lots more songs to work on.

Have fun!

Chas
