Blues Tunes with Rhumba Feel?

Sign in to disble this ad
Trying to compile a list of blues tunes that use the Rhumba feel.

So far I have

Crosscut Saw - Albert King
Woke Up This Morning - Freddie King
Mardi Gras in New Orleans - Professor Longhair
Hey Little Girl - Professor Longhair

Can anyone add to this list?

Walking to my baby, Fabulous Thunderbirds
For your love, YardBirds
Black magic woman, Fleetwood Mac

to name a some.

But listen to some Tex Mex blues like Los Lobos, Tito and Tarantula, etc and of course Carlos Santana for Latin rhythms similar to Rhumba to increase your understanding of how they can all be used.

Tampa Red's "Don't Lie To Me (I Get Evil)" isn't, but Gary Moore's version is:

Holy Crap! I just saw the comment on that clip that says RIP Gary. I didn't know he had died. Major bummer. He was a great and very underrated guitarist. His version of "Red House" on the Fender concert was incredible!

One of the bands I used to play with performed that song every week for six years.
