quick assessment:

bootsy and staff are dedicated, inspiring, encouraging, and offer wonderful insights and stories (while demonstrating some really nice playing obviously). it's fun to watch and listen to AND it's inspiring.

the actual hands on lessons? they're ok. the first lesson, they transcribe What's Going On, but I thought the transcription was slightly incorrect after listening to (and transcribing myself) the isolated bass track from Youtube. But i think that's always the case...you always learn more by transcribing something yourself than having someone hand you some tabs.

In the end I would have stayed on (because of what I stated in the first paragraph), but it was ultimately too expensive (i think $39/month). also i couldn't keep up with the pace because my band commitments have me spending all my free time learning other songs.
