Has anyone seen this DVD?

If I had to do it all over again, I... well, I probably wouldn't. And for that reason, I wouldn't buy his DVD either.
Then again, it's been almost 30 years, maybe he's got more to offer now? He's certainly an excellent bassist. |

Great player and would be a good choice as a teacher for an advanced student. I don't blame him for my lack of learning with him, I was just not ready. Still, how much can a DVD set you back? If you have been wondering about it all this time, why not just get it and let us know. |

I have a couple of his instructional books but not the one in question. In comparison to the numerous other books I have, they are equal in quality. All instructional books are limited: there are parts that some people will find helpful for their particular skill set weaknesses, and others won't find useful because of either lack of interest or lack of need.
So I don't think anyone can tell you what you personally will get out of any book, especially if you don't tell us what it is you want to get out of a specific book. Like the rest of us, you just have to bite the bullet and try it out. |

Since then I've taught a student using his books. (The student brought them in himself.)

I wasn't ready to tackle it at the time when I bought it but now that my reading and ability is "up to par" I found it very interesting/useful.
