Try to play very tight with the drummer and pay special attention to the bassdrum. These exercises are built on a solid and steady drum beat. The bassline follows the drum rhythm.

Dont worry. I have covered a wide diversity of style in my teaching and in my lessons on the website.

In my experience, most young students want to be able to play Rock music. Most of them then move on to playing Blues, Funk, Jazz, but they usually start with Rock.
