For one having a webcam means nothing to the context of this thread. And 2, you missed a word in that Youtube video link there buddy.

The word you missed is GOSPEL. But I'm sure you recognise not everyone is religious and it is only music after all, so you must not have done it deliberately.

So, in the incidental spirit of this thread, here is my NO LONGER EXISTENT AND STUPID link

<purged Deicide link>
I am truly sorry, I had no idea this band represented that much open and blanket hatred for a faith system. Please accept my apologies

Well just to clarify for you, this is the second board that I posted this on. The first was learngospelmusic.com so the main portion was directed toward them. I do realize that everybody doesn't believe the way that I believe and I except that. I just wanted to encourage everyone to post and share what they know for the reasons stated. Either you post or not...

God Bless

PS: To a lot of ppl (including myself) this is not just music its our passion and ministry...

Thanks. You too!

This is not about our mutual beliefs.

This is about a video you recommended to anyone on THIS board, without disclosing what is in it.

That's not much different than a "knock and run" with a sealed brown paper bag of poo, labelled "lunch". Sure, once you see whats in it, it's edible as lunch, but it's not to everyones tastes, now is it??

And since I'm not a member of that board, I obviously missed your connection. On this board, I have asked after and watched a Gospel video out of interest.

Oh, one thing though. I just watched my video link throughout for the first time, and if you saw it, I must confess it's the first time I took note of the song title.

I am ashamed to admit I was thoughtless to "choose" that song title as an example to prove my point. That was stupid of me and at cross purposes to my meaning. Honestly! I apologise to you and anyone else taking offense to the title.

But I won't apologise for the imagery contained within as I had as much choice with your link, nor will I apologise for making my point!

Incidentally, there is a thread on TB where a poster quoted text from a Bible, not the reference for me to read at my leisure should I choose to. I kicked up a hissy fit on that one too. My opinion on the issue thats it's OK to post religious stuff in the positive, but not negative, does not sit well with me, and it not personal, or anti-any religion!

This sounds like a good idea. I don't think you should be as specific as gospel per se, considering gospel roots are derived from funk and jazz.

Gospel Bassist: with Webcam

Its a popular song, played during ministry time. Real easy progression, would be great for new players (like myself)
