CAn someone suggest any good site reading books?

I want to increase my bass clef reading skills. I have treble cleff down and it sometimes screws me up when reading bass cleff.

Can someone suggest some good site reading books at about an intermediate difficulty with no tabs?

Books I like:

Berklee sight-reading for electric bass (Rich Appleman)

Dotzauer 'Cello studies

Simandl 30 studies for double bass (goes through many keys, time signatures and styles)

also for general interest:

The Working Bassist's Toolkit (Ed Friedland)

Essential Styles for Drums and Bass (Bruce Haughton and Tom Warrington)

The Evolving Bassist

I use Mel Bay's "Note Reading Studies for Bass" for all of my beginning electric students, and I like it a lot. It takes you from the absolute basics to 16th note syncopations in the span of one thin volume, and does a pretty nice job of it.

Beyond that, the "Standing in the Shadows of Motown" is pretty good for reading chops as well if you don't mind some goofiness from the "guest artists".

Ron Velosky's "Sight Reading For The Electric Bass" is also very good. (No tabs, either!)

This book is great but has anyone ever noticed how many Mistakes there are ?

I have used "Note Reading Studies for Bass" and recommend it, but the October 2002 issue of Bass Player mentions a new book that might be helpful too. Mind you, I haven't seen it myself.
