| I've got them too (well, mine are older so they're on VHS...) and I learned SO much about real music and bass playing back in the '70s when I started from her monthly column in Guitar Player (yes, GUITAR Player, no bass mags then) magazine. Very well worth the investment in time you'll have to make. Not the highest production values I've seen, but the educational content more than makes up for that.
You'll learn things to consider with the left-hand technique (I don't use her LH fingering, but the issues she discusses are things you need to think through carefully), chord construction, how the chords come from the scale, and how to practice things that'll make you a better functional bassist.
Have fun!
John
