I just got this recently. It's full of some pretty funky stuff, and I am enjoying playing through it. Pretty good for working on reading rythms as well.

Anybody else like this book?

these are the best books for learning how to read and think as an electric player. I recently bought more books(also tapes, DVD) from her website after first buying some of her first books many years ago.

Yep. I started out my 16th notes reading with that about 30 years ago too.

Yup. My teacher had me read thru the whole series in the mid 70s, along with the Valda Hammerick books.
Very helpful in learning to sight read!

Still have all BUT #1! Don't lend 'em out to friends!!

I still have mine. It was a great help. There is a lot of knowledge in those books.

A whole lot of great players got started studying CK materials. I have a bunch of her stuff and refer to it all the time for ideas and practice ideas. Great teaching materials never go out of style.

Like Ed Friedland, Carol is very accessible to discuss of the materials at hand. With all the bogus information out there it is nice these two are so easy to contact regarding their methods.
