I hope this is the right place to put this.

I have been playing for almost a year now and I feel that I need a teacher to get me going. I am interested in learning rock/funk/slap and other areas as well but those being my main interests.

Hopefully someone can help me out I have been looking for a while with no luck.

Oh yeah, I live in Landisville, PA. I would prefer someone in Lancaster County but I will go a little further if needed.

This might be too far to drive - but you may want to check out the CVSM (Cumberland Valley School of Music). They have several well qualified teachers for bass and guitar. Next I would check with the local music stores. Good luck with the search.
