So my wife and I were practicing some music for the praise band, and this particular piece actually has a bass score. I was having a really hard time with one section of the composition (I know I could deviate from it and write my own bass line, but it kinda became a quest to do it right). Anyway, I couldn't figure out how to play it quite right.
I decided to see if there was software that would help me, so I searched and found MuseScore.

I downloaded that, set it to electric bass, plugged in the measures I was having problems with, and was able to hear exactly what it should sound like. It really helped, and this software is really fantastic for open source software. Just thought I'd share.
