Hi all,

I've been hanging around here for about 4 years and playing about the same length of time (age 30-34). Working hard and IMHO improving very slowly.

Naturally the only feedback you'll ever get at gigs is "THAT WAS GREAT" or else a look of masked disgust from musicians who don't like it for whatever reasons.

Please some tips on what you think I should work to improve, be it timing, note choice, etc, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Live last Friday in small bar, recorded on zoom h4 handheld.

First off, I am listening to the whole thing which says a lot. I also use the zoomH4n recorder and I am always amazed at the results you get. The band played at a tempo that I wasn't nodding off at, and the dynamics used really worked. The bass was not too busy but sounded engaged with the rhythm section. Everybody seems to be heard equally which is difficult esp. in a bar situation. Finally the guitar played within himself and didn't try to sound like somebody else. Again the recording holds up well.. Monday AM is a great time for the blues!!...good luck with this effort...........................
