Any sheet music for beginners that they could email to me?

I'm not a beginner to bass, but I am to sight reading and theory, so just looking for something to get me started.

I know the notes on the stave, but not the meter/rhythm (is that right?) of the notes, so can't tell how long a note goes on for. Does that make sense?

Anyway, anything appreciated. Thanks

I have. I'm really looking for pieces of music for bass guitar rather than individual lessons.

Sent 'ya a PM. Also was thinking, try looking up free piano sheet music. I'm sure there's tons of it online, and you could just practice the bass clef stuff. Just an idea.

Stewie, you're judgmentally quoting bible verses and you don't even know how to read!

Search the forum for "Bouree" as soon as your see this.

The sheet music for Jethro Tull's Bouree is posted in PDF's by page and the song is very "ear" able so it is a great way to learn music by connecting it to an MP# that is relatively easy to pick out by ear for another dimension of learning.

Edited to add this link:

Bouree Jetrho Tull
