does anyone know of a descent bass theroy book?

i need a decent book to learn some theroy, where at the end of each chapter it has a little exam, does anyone know of really good ones?

Here is one that the reviews stated was a workbook/exam type book.

It covers all theory, not just bass theory. IME, Most standard books/courses don't limit themselves to bass.

A book I've used is:
Theory for the Contemporary Bassist by Tracy Walton.
It is a slim volume but covers all the essentials and there is a test at the end of each chapter to check your knowledge. Answers are given at the back and the latest edition comes with a CD.
Highly recommended.
