Does Riffmaster Pro software work for bass or anybody suggest another one?

I'm looking for software that will slow down but keep the pitch on a track so i can pick up the bassline and practice it at a slower pace!

I've heard of various software for guitars such as the Riffmaster Pro but i don't want to pay for it then find out it only works for guitar not bass.

I've started practicing with a band playing some of their easier stuff but i'd like to slow some of the harder stuff down so i can practice it till i get upto speed!

I need something that will import from CD and MP3 files!

Any suggestions please!

I use Amazing Slow Downer. It does MP3's to do CD's you would have to use iTunes or Winamp, or WM to import them first.

You might also want to check this out Express Scribe...just had to share

I use software called Transcribe! (complete with exclamation mark). About fifty bucks and slows down without changing pitch, plus you can go an octive higher and clearly hear the bass lines. It also has an EQ so you can take some high end out.

I'm told the Torrent version out there may have a virus, so be careful.
