It doesnt sound right

i have the strings all tuned correctly for an electric bass, and the bass is all the way up on the amp, but it sounds way too high pitch on every string how do i fix it?

Are you sure you tuned to the correct pitches (E-A-D-G, assuming a 4-string)? If so, do you have them tuned to correct octave?

Did you use a tuner to tune your bass? standard pitch is 440, I would try backing down the high to 3 and setting your bass tone to 5 , and turn down the gain and volume and maybe try the vintage setting vs the modern. that is a little practice amp and you will not get a good clean tone out of it at high volume without it distorting and sounding bad. Also you could try backing down the tone on your bass. hope this helps. good luck.
