double thumbing help

hello, im new to this forum, and ive been playing bass for about 9 months and other instruments for many years.

id like to know all i can about double thumbing. basic technique, tips, hints, anything.

This is the best video explain double thumping by the master of double thumping.

It's just as Wooten says, it's like using a pick, in other words, don't use the joint on your thumb to double thump, use the tip of the thumb (the side of the fingernail). At least that's how I do it...

ohhhhhhhhhhh an heres me trying without success to use the joint of my thumb! time for a change of plan!
