Drop D tunning

If i want to tune my E string to Drop D in a Chromathic Tuner i need to tune the E string frequency to 412...so i need to write on the tuner screen 412Hz?
to roll the pulley to 412 Hz?

hope you understund its hard to explain what i want to ask!

You could just fret the "E" string at the 2nd. Read an E on the tuner and the open string will be your desired D.
