Drum Machine Help/info

Hey there guys...

I am looking to get a drum machine that will also comp chords as well. I want it to also be able to mute the bass as that would be counter productive to practicing with it. Any suggestions? There is also a money concern. Basically wanting a drum machine that works kind of like Band in a Box.

Any suggestions???

Thanks

The Boss DR-880 is a fantastic drum machine. I think you can do what you are asking above with this drum machine. Let us know what you decide. Der Basskopf

I use the Boss Dr. Rythm Section Dr-5 Drum Machine, I bought it only for a drum machine to practice with but it does much much more. Hard to figure out if you ask me. I picked up mine on ebay for like 70.

We've got the Boss DR-880. It has a volume dial on the bass - any level you want from zero to 11ty. You can easily transpose any of its keys to some other key, though. You can also swap out drum kits (it's so easy, I can do it).

You can use its preset rhythms (lots) or compose your own.

Earlier today, I thought of a good reason to prefer a drummer over a drum machine but I forgot it again. It was a really good reason too - but I really truly have forgotten it.

Nice thing about a drum machine is that it doesn't keep playing once you turn it off.

Interesting topic, I dont know if there is anything out now that does what BIAB already does.
