Hey guys.

I've been looking for a good lesson plan since I can't really afford a regular instructor, and I have seen the prices on the Grimoire series, so as cool as they are, they're a bit pricey for me.

I came across this dvd on EBAY:

I was wondering if any of you guys had seen it and could give me opinions on its worthwhileness or lack thereof.

You're better off just getting the Bass Grimoire book, the DVD is basically a very lite version of the book with a lot of silly black magic type imagery thrown in for effect. I mean, if learning about scales from someone who looks like a character from a 70's Satanic cult B-movie appeals to you, then by all means go for it....if not, just get the book.

Got the book coming, actually. Found a used copy on EBAY for $5.

I have the guitar scales/modes book that was given to me, and frankly, it was over my head. I'm just hoping this one won't hurt my brain as much.
