Easy songs to learn that people actually know

yea, Money is easy and really fun, it also introduces u to the power chord make it your friend.

also if u like Queen, a really cool and easy bass line is "anotherone bites the dust"

lol bohemian rhapsody nah money i learnt as one of my first but i didnt find it fun the arctic monkeys have alot of bass driven songs so try them

Easy songs? With or WIthout You. Seven Nation Army. Smells Like Teen Spirit. Good starter songs, I guess, to get your head round the instrument, although not quite Victor Wooten style!

i learned seven nation army and the intro to money today. I love both those songs. Seven naton army is pretty easy.

Why not Once In A Lifetime from the Talking heads? You never leave the E string and it is pretty much 3 notes played over and over.....though you can spice it up a bit when you get to a few places where there is no bass near the end....using the same 3 notes during a few uitar chords that are left to ring.....

Great tune and not exactly hard to learn....

I started off learning a lot of Sabbath (Masters of Reality album), and a lot of theme songs like The Munsters, Barny Miller (wasn't so easy if I remember correctly) Sha-na-na.
