I admit it - I'm a sucker for instructional materials. I enjoy looking at books and videos, and Sometimes - Sometimes - they help.

easymusiclessons.com advertises on this site.

Here's a public service announcement - don't buy it.

It's advertised as materials for beginners through advanced.

- If you're a beginner, you can't learn from these materials.
- If you're an intermediate, you already know what's in them.
- If you're advanced, ... don't even go there.

The biggest problem I have with it is that I didn't notice they don't offer a refund. Usually a reputable seller of instructional materials online will allow Some period of time to review the materials before the transaction is done. I bought the stuff, reviewed it literally in hours, decided it wasn't for me, and then learned I wasn't getting my money back.

Have you tried filing a dispute with your credit card company, assuming you paid via CC? They can usually help getting refunds from vendors and they are very interested in keeping your business.

I'd talk to PayPal then and see what they have to say.

So, you teach? How long have you been playing?

Specifically, what do you think is good about this package?

First time in my life I actually felt Ripped Off after purchasing.

I'll say it again - if you are a beginner, you Absolutely can't learn from this. If you are an intermediate, you know this.

On top of all of that, the material is packaged poorly, and the 25 megabyte PDF they send you will hammer many a PC.

The biggest indicator is that there is no guarantee. Not even the ability to get money returned if you realize it is not for you within 24 hours of reviewing.
Any material worth Anything can stand tall with Some sort of refund policy. But not this.

Just for the record. I'm not a fan of posting a negative review like this. In other cases, I would have just kept my mouth shut.

I tried to get a refund on this literally hours after seeing what it was. If the author cooperated, I would have received the refund, and I would have gone on my way, quietly. But, after literally feeling ripped off, I felt compelled to post here to leave a warning for others. Especially since this product is advertised at TB.

What went down just wasn't right, and even though it wasn't a ton of money, it was still money, and it was the principle. No one should make money this way.

Yeah....seems kinda weird that you couldn't get a refund. Like it was a planned rip-off from the start. There are some good (and cheap) leassons to be had out there...and most have a trial period at least. Thanks for the heads up and sorry for your hassle.
