I got up to Austin this weekend (for the juggling festival), and took a one hour lesson from Ed. I havent had a bass guitar lesson for about 30 years, so it was kind of a lark.

I am normally a fingerstyle player, but I have been hacking away at slap style for a while. I asked Ed to look at what I was doing with slap and offer some suggestions to make it better. He watched me play for a couple of minutes, then offered a bunch of great ideas that I will be practicing for quite a while - although I think I made an immediate improvement.

I would highly recommend Ed as a teacher. He is a nice guy and was really able to zoom in on the areas that i nneded to improve.
