Question ELECTRIC TUNER (NEW)

hello everyone, i just got a new tuner last night and it has 'keys' such as:
Bb
C
Eb
F
Which one of these whould get me to the standard tuning, i think its Bb but i'm not sure what it was so i figured i'd better ask you guys

see if you can find a website that u can tune ur guitar to with test tones and find what one is in tune(i.e i wud love to help but dont have a clue)

ya it came with a manual that was 5 feet long no joke and it mentioned nothing about the keys =|

Are you sure you read it? You didn't just say "pfft, I can figure this thing out" and throw it away, did you?

Go to the company website and see if you can find a FAQ or something.

C is what you want. I'm not sure why it's like that, but I have a seiko tuner that has the same thing, and C is the proper key.

Because some instruments, like saxophone are in the key of Bb (tenor) or Eb (alto, soprano, baritone). Other instruments are in other keys too. This is why you'll see C, Bb, Eb, etc., versions of Real Books since standard jazz instruments aren't all in the key of C.
