Essential licks: old ? New application

Hey guys,

I work for a music store and I am going to be making once a week videos for our facebook called "bass lick of the week". Some of these will be famous licks while others will be techniques and practice tools (scales and what not).

My question... If this was your project what licks would you post? I am almos strictly a jazz guy and I don't know alot of the "standard" rock/metal licks. Thanks in advance!
