Extremely Fun Way To Play

Your going to need a few things to do this. I found that it can be tough or boring to learn a song by yourself, so try this.. you'll need a few materials, but it works great!

1) Get Power Tab (software for your PC).
2) Youll need a sound card with a Microphone jack (most computers have this already...look for the red circle on the back of the computer)
3) You'll need a 1/4 to 1/8th connector (Availabl at Radio Shack for no more than $5.00

With this, you can download a guitar tab and play along with it in Power Tab (you'll actually hear it through your computer speakers while the guitar plays!)

Another approach is to use a Pandoras Box or Tascam trainer. You can drop out the bass on a CD(newer ones may work with MP3) and Jam along with the rest of the band of your choice.
It is also nice to slow things without changing pitch so you can lift a lick here and there.

Have fun!
