Finding a bass teacher

I want to find a bass teacher but I want one who teaches bass only. i do not want a guitar player that teaches bass on the side. i think i would learn more if a bass player taught me the bass. i cant find one in any of my local guitar shops. they are al guitar players teaching bass n the side....

If you're really serious about finding a bass teacher, and there's none at your local shops, try a community college or university. There's also correspondence classes available online.

Heck, I'm pretty sure you can do a search through TB for any in your area...
