First Lesson Last Night

Well, I found a bass teacher that I think is going to work out for me. Had my first lesson last night. This guy has been playing and teaching bass for over 30 years and his sytem is pretty unique (to me). First, his lessons are 2 hours long, which is new to me..other instructors I've had give a one hour lesson..max. He also sees his student every 2 weeks instead of every week. I will know more as the lessons progress but my first impression is that he very much loves teaching (a big plus) and he is one of the best players in the region.

Sounds like it is going to be a good experience.

Good luck.

Sounds good and intense. You'll take home a lot from every lesson, and have a lot to practice, I'm sure.

As you progress, be sure to set goals together. It will help him create better lessons and, with hope, keep you motivated.

Best of luck.
