Fly Me to the Moon, 3/4?

I've got the Hal Leonard Real Jazz Standards Fake Book, and I'm not sure the version of Fly Me to the Moon is right. I always thought it was in 4/4, and every version I've heard has been, I'm certain. But the version in my fake book is in 3/4? It doesn't make any sense, every time I try and hum the melody out I revert to 4/4, I really don't see how it fits into 3/4.

I'm not wrong am I? 3/4 really doesn't seem to fit this song, for me at least.

Here's a scan of the first page (I did flip it, dunno why it's upside down still):

I have seen it both ways (3/4 and 4/4).

I remember playing that standard both ways. The 3/4 version is the original version since Hal...published it in 3/4. According to my ancient "Big Book" fake book Fly Me to the Moon was a 3/4 waltz but nobody dances the waltz so its a 4/4 swing tune...........................

From Wikipedia:
The arrangement by Quincy Jones has become the rendition most people know. Jones changed the time signature, which was originally 3/4 waltz-time, to 4/4 and gave it a looser, swing feel.

"Nature Boy" is the same. When you mention the song, most people think of George Benson's version (in 4/4) but if you check out the original record by Nat King Cole (or the published sheet music), its a Waltz!!.

Thanks for the replies guys I had no idea the original was a waltz, I assumed this version I posted was an alteration of it, or was wrong. A friend went over it with me and it makes sense now!
