Hey everyone. I've been spending a lot of time over the past couple months in talkbass and I love it here.

I have created a ton a instruction videos for bass. Topics ranging from harmonics, ghost notes, modes, string bending, technique etc...

The lessons are taught by high profile bassist. Rufus Philpot

All my videos are free I don't want any money from this, for now.

I would like to keep making more videos so please help me out by subscribing to my youtube channel.

Thanks for your help.

What kind of flats are you using on that jazz in the technique lessons? Are they JO flats? Chromes? Light gauge? I mean, they sound great, no matter what the technique, they sing

There are some pretty awesome lessons in there. Ive been looking for a good lesson on playing chords on bass. And how to mix them and when to use them appropriately.

Considered me subscribed.

thanks again

Thanks everyone who has subscribed. We are working to get a chords lesson going. And even some playing over chords videos.

Actually I would like to make videos on every topic but I know it's going to take time to build up to that.

Just also wanted to clarify I am not Rufus but I know him well.
He is endorsed by La Bella so I am sure they are La Bella strings on there. I just sent him a txt to give me his specifics (gauge, model etc...) I will post as soon as I hear back from him.

Thanks again,

Brendan

Rufus' Strings

Just heard back from Rufus he says he uses Nickel La Bella Slappers on all his basses.

Here are the sizes:

G String: 040
D String: 065
A String: 085
E String: 105
B String: 128 *

*B string on 5 String Bass Only.

You can get a close look at the strings in this video.

Hope this helps. -Brendan

hahha

Yeah I was wondering about why cause my avatar doesn't look like him haha.

Yeah I have about 36 new electric guitar and 40 more drum lessons I will be uploading soon.

The electric guitar lessons will be more advanced then the earlier ones. Hope you enjoy them.
