Fretless..

Sign in to disble this ad
Question. I am looking for a new bass and was wondering about learing on a fretless. I started playing about 4months ago. Would anyone NOT recommend getting a fretless at this point?

I know it may be a bit harder, but is it really going to make that much of a difference? I played a couple at the local music shop and they had the lines on them ... it wasn't that hard ...

Let me know if you have an opinion.

Thanks,
Keith.

If you like it, do it. It's that simple.

I too would like to back up Brad's statement.

Careful though, as fretless basses are addicting. My fretted basses have gone by the wayside. BTW, I have a beautiful G&L L2000 fretless with rosewood board for sale.
