Wow...great resource for R&B bass.
Tell Pierre thanks!

I do need to check on something when I get home-
I'm under the impression that David Hood played on Wilson Pickett's Hey Jude album...your friend has Jerry Jemmott credited as the bassist.

Pierre's site has great transcriptions on it. Rocco. Jerry Jemmott. The Duck. Chuck Rainey.

The ones I've played through have been pretty accurate - more accuracte for Duck than the WHAT DUCK DUNN book, that's for sure.

Go check them out.

Great Pierre!
It's a goldmine!
We all must study, and most of all we all must thank our friend Pierre for his work.

This site is up and down all the time, I don't know why. Keep trying and it'll be up again.

Why can't I get the site up? Is it still working? Something I need to join or something?

I encountered the same problem today. Was just there a day or two ago, now the error. But hopefully as others have mentioned it will be back soon. Such a treasure trove !!!
I just acquired some Freddie King and was going in for some Jerry Jemmott.

Thanks so much,Pierre,
Johnny

This is the best website ever! I've been aware of it for a while and the transcriptions have aided my playing immensely. Plus there's no tab, thank the good Lord. Highly recommended.
