I have the book and have worked on some of the licks transcribed inside it, but haven't ever listened to the CDs so I can't comment on that. I found the book to be part history lesson and part funkology lesson.
i find the book to be good & the cd good. unfortunately, the breakdowns are all slow speed, so playing along with the guitar is not possible... what were they thinking??
