I was taught "Good Boys Deserve Fudge Always", which is very far from cool or amusing or interesting, but by god I remember it here 30 years later.

I learned the color code for resistors in electronics from a similar line. Bad Boys "Rile" Our Young Girls, But Violet Gives Willingly...the for the tolerance bands Get Some Now translates to Black Brown Red Orange Yellow Green Blue Violet (duh) Gold White representing 0-9 Tolerance is Gold, Silver, None 5% 10% 20%

What ever it takes to jog the memory, huh?

Someone on here said they used "Good Bassists Dig Fine Ass", and I have to second that one.

I'm rubbish at bass clef, although I'm getting better.

Years of trumpet playing have reduced me to using treble clef and then just bumping it down to get bass clef

When I took piano lessons at the age of 8, I learned "Great Big Dogs Fight Animals" for the lines, "All Cars Eat Gas" for the spaces in bass clef. There was also "Every Good Boy Does Fine" for the treble clef lines and the word "face" for the treble spaces.
