Gloves while playing

Well i am not using the common gloves i am using the gloves that cover your fingers half way through so i can play i do this because my hand is getting cold and i can't play **** on bass

So will i get any problems from this method?

Don't see why you'd get any problems from this. As long as it doesn't impede your technique.

My guitarist uses them too, in wintertime. But he's a pussy :P

I've heard of reggae bass players playing with cotton gloves to get a really matte sound.

it'll limit or slow your movement slightly, but depending on your style and such it may not matter so much.

One of my bands is playing a tail gate party outside for a Buffalo Bill's game (note: "Buffalo"...) on December 20th.

I will be seeking a pair of gloves with fingertip access.

No slapping that show, but I'll make do.

I can tell you that since I had my heart attack, I can lift and carry as much stuff as I ever could. In fact, I'm probably in better shape because of the diet and excercise changes I had to make, but if my hands get cold, I get chest pains. So I can help move your cab, but I have to be careful when I pick up an ice cube, so I always have gloves handy if I think the temperature will go below 50 degrees.
