This book is amazing, it has interviews and excerpts from all of my favorite bassists from the last 30 years or so, Chris really nailed it, because the list of players is exactly the group of bassists who have inspired me most since day one of playing, everybody from Flea to Marcus to Me'Shell to Patitucci. Even less recognized playes i've been into for years like Jason Moran and often overlooked Bakithi Kumalo. I'm making all of my studnts pick this book up right away. Going to start working on some of these tranciptions right now! |
