Good Bass Teacher?

I few life changing events happened and I am available to learn & play bass full-time. I am looking for a good mentor in Louisiana to follow and looking to take intermediate lessons. Looking for someone around the Baton Rouge area.

Does anyone know anyone?

Seriously man? Just hit up the paper/craigslist/music store recommendations. You're in the music capitol of the south. Or even do a search here, For bass teachers, and students seeking them you read the stickies right?

Check any local community colleges and universities for a jazz bass teacher. A person like that will give you the knowledge that will allow you to play almost any type of music.

Its been my experience that bass teachers are a dime a dozen, but GOOD bass teachers are a rare breed.
