I have experience only with "V.Wooten C.Beauford - Making Music" from Hudson Music. I think that's a good one - not too basic, they talk about the "chemistry" or whatever you like to call that which goes on in a good drummer/bassist combo.

Search Amazon.com for this book by Patitucci; Ultimate Play-Along for Bass: Level 1 then check out the Table of Contents sample page. This book/CD combo may have what you need. I haven't read the book or anything so I can't vouch for it though.

"The Contemporary Bassist" by Gary Rice.
"Grooving For Heaven" Volume 3 (The Art of Groove) by Norm Stockton. I would recommend this DVD first...fantastic.
