i'm trying to work out the chords to this tune...

i've got the A and B section down ok,but i'm getting stuck on the D-7 D-/C and the A-7 A-/G parts in the C section of the song....

could someone point me in the right direction as to what chord to use after the D-7 and A-7 chords?

i get that the roots of those chords should be C and G but i'm not finding a voice that seems to swing into the next chords...

thanks

If you're referring to the part I think you are, one way it's sometimes played is to follow the Dm7 Dm/C with Bm7b5 E7, and the Am7 Am/G with F#m7b5 B7, which leads you to a iii7-VI7-ii7-V7 in C.

yea, thats how the progression is written in my real book.

it's the D-/C and A-/G chords i'm having a hard time figuring out how to play...

i'll experiment around with how you wrote those 7 chords though, thanks
