"Harmonics For Electric Bass" Adam Novick

I've been looking everywhere for a decently priced copy (or ebook/pdf) of "Harmonics For Electric Bass" by Adam Novick. It seems to be the go to book for all things harmonic.

Does anyone know where to get a copy for a reasonable price?

Is that an actual book?? It almost sounds like it's someone's idea of a joke or parody. Like something you'd have on a coffee table next to a giant glossy color edition of "The Audubon Guide to Pickup Selector Switch Tips of North American Electric Stringed Instruments."

I bought Adam's book directly from him about 30 years ago.

Best book on the subject for sure.

dang. With prices like that, it must be out of print and not available anymore.

The Deen Peer book is really good too, it doesn't have quite the exhaustive catalog of chords in the Adam Novak book, but it is still really good and he does some super cool things with them. And it is in print...

I, uh, have a lot of bass books.

It's actually a great book. Very very deep into it. I got a copy used from Amazon about two years ago for $12. I think somebody didn't know it was so sought for. It might not be worth $100 to you but a 30 minute lesson can run anywhere from $25-50 and you can keep this till it falls apart.

Is he still alive and practicing? Maybe he would be willing to sell photocopies of the book here on talk bass.
