Question Has anyone here tried this particular course?

Be warned , when you click on this (Link), you'll be bombarded with some of the most extravagent claims that you're ever likely to see, anywhere, about any product !

The question is; has anyone here got any experience of it and is it really worth $50 to find out ?

I'm a curious kind of guy ( that didn't come out right), so I might be tempted to give it a whirl, but I think that it makes sense to ask about it here first, in case it's just a scam.

Thanks, in advance, for your input .

You can't teach instinct and feel, which is a large part of what makes a "killer bassline." I wouldn't trust it.

Also, the video at the top, if you pay attention, was made by the same guy that made the course, not a green beginner.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Listen, man. There are no secrets in music. None. Not a single one. This guys is a clown, scam artist, poser, whatever you want to call him.

These are the guys that hang out at Guitar Center on a Saturday afternoon trolling for suckers because they are a "Producuh" and can make them a rap/hiphop/funk/gospel star.

If you really want to spend $50 bucks just send it to me.

Oh, and 1996 called and wants its website back.

OK, I have to say that I'm inclined to agree with the synics now . There was an offer on this website to get a "free lesson" (just a small part of the course, to give an idea of the wider content). All you had to do was send your email address and you'd receive it .

I used my "junk email" address and a pop-up appeared, saying that my free lesson had been emailed to me - when I checked my account ... nothing .

So, I guess that the guy responisible for this must make a few thousand bucks a year from people who just Escrow him their $50 and hope for the best. Shame, really !

Hope he's not a member here, BTW .

I couldn't get past the first paragraph because Billy Mays popped into my head and started yelling it to me.

It's a scam.

Actually, it's not a scam. I bought that course about a year ago. Very good stuff.

I have Bass Guitar Secrets too and got way more good out of it than it cost. Its really unfortunate that he markets it the way that he does. The material itself is better than the whole "secrets" and "get rich quick" approach he uses in his marketing.

I too bought bass guitar secrets and I must say that although it is not incredibly slick in it's production, the content and thought process behind it was really quite good and unique in some ways. You still gotta work hard. There are no short cuts but the info is well layed out and organized. Well worth the dough,I would say.http://www.talkbass.com/forum/images.../guitarist.gif
