Edit: Ok, figured out what I was doing wrong!

edit: he's hitting an E not an F on the C7 riff! Took me a few runs through to hear it. So makes sense hitting the 3rd.

Are you sure it was F? Cause on the transcription Jamerson approached the F7 with a G.

No, wasn't sure. And just discovered that it's an E. So I think the fast chorus C7 riff is g c g eb c e to the F7 chord. It's amazing how fast he can play that riff. Listen to the first chorus.

I love how I can hear isolated jamerson tracks and still be bobbing my head. The man's sense of groove was impeccable.

Yeah, it was like he made his bass sing along with the song with a different melody.
